Our Beginning

In July 1987 we bought our first Rottweiler, previous to this we had been owners and breeders of Irish Setters ... yes I know, it's a quantum leap from Irish to Rottweilers, but at the time Robert was often working interstate or late at night and we were living in a rural area on the outskirts of Melbourne. An intruder in the farm sheds looking for petrol one night made us realise the need for a dog that would be a little more intimidating then our over friendly setters.
So we started with "Kiahbel Tranquil Star (Beth)" a beautiful bitch bred by Belinda Osler. Beth became Aust Ch in no time and only needed 1 more pass for CD obedience title. Beth produced 3 litters for us and we had a lot of fun with her progeny and learned so much. They wern't the most beautiful bunch, but they were great fun and some were excellent working dogs.

Twelve months after aquiring Beth we brought home her half brother "Kiahbel Baltriac" (Dieter), he was just starting to mature into a lovely show dog when he was tragically killed chasing a fox that took him straight out onto the road.
Our First litter from Beth was a bit of a disaster, but from 3 surviving puppies we got a lovely little bitch called Ludendorf Anouche, our first home bred multi V graded rottweiler. Her sire was Ch Murraleah Lord Abel owned by Kerry Guerin of Mount Gambia, South Australia.

Beth's second litter was by German import Winn von der Grürmansheide. This breeding produced some lovely working bitches. Ludendorf Bianca CD,CDX,UD,TD and Ludendorf Baeyer CD.
